Later that day, Rep. Roy was quoted on domestic energy production: “The best thing that’s ever happened is what happened in Texas with fracking and opening up oil and gas in the United States over the last 15 or 20 years.

In another tweet regarding immigration reform legislation posted on March 13, Rep. Roy’s office stated: “Yes, we do.

Chip Roy has represented Texas’s 21st District in the U.S. Congress since 2019 after replacing Lamar Smith (source).
