Rep. Chip Roy Press Office has posted a series of statements on social media addressing issues related to border security, immigration, and national security.

On March 28, 2026, Rep. Roy stated, “It is Democrats that are blocking bills. The House has passed 4 or 5 bills to fund DHS in its entirety, we’ve sent it to the Senate, and 5 to 7 Democrats continue to reject that. We’re going to stand up with Border Patrol. We’re going to stand up with ICE.”

Two days later, on March 30, Rep. Roy shared a quote from The Hill regarding a recent House Judiciary subcommittee hearing: “.@thehill: ‘At a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing this month, Republican lawmakers said the Supreme Court had no right to make the decision and the additional cost of undocumented immigrants in schools was a burden on taxpayers.

‘It’s time we meet the moment to overturn”

Also on March 30, Rep. Roy commented on immigration from majority Muslim countries since September 11th: “25 years have passed [since 9/11]. During that time, we have admitted into the United States 5 million people from majority Muslim countries. Islam is on the march, all in concert with their memorandum from the Muslim Brotherhood.” @NEWSMAX
