On July 3, 2025, Representative Pat Fallon of Texas’s 4th District shared his thoughts following the final passage of the Big Beautiful Bill. Fallon expressed satisfaction with the bill’s alignment with the America First agenda, highlighting its extension of President Trump’s 2017 tax cuts for families and businesses.
Fallon remarked, “I’m proud to vote to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill today and advance the America First agenda that the American people chose last November. By extending President Trump’s 2017 tax cuts for working families and businesses, the American economy now has the increased certainty it needs to continue to grow.”
He further emphasized the bill’s provisions for federal law enforcement agencies and national defense. “With the bill’s dramatic increase in funding for Border Patrol and ICE,” he stated, “federal law enforcement now has the resources needed to fully secure our borders and continue to deport criminal illegal aliens.” Additionally, he noted that “with the bill’s huge investment in national defense, we can better deter China in the Indo-Pacific, restore our domestic defense industrial base, and move forward with President Trump’s Golden Dome missile defense plan.”
Fallon described these elements as significant achievements for Americans across various sectors.
