Rep. Pat Fallon, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 4th district, recently posted several statements on his Twitter account addressing issues related to China’s global influence, U.S. military capabilities, and Second Amendment rights.

On May 13, 2026, Fallon commented on China’s international strategy, stating: “Beijing uses debt trap diplomacy to secure influence across the world. This is the entire point of China’s Belt & Road initiative. Greater CCP influence is bad for the US and the free world.”

The following day, May 14, 2026, Fallon addressed recent U.S. military operations abroad and their implications for defense readiness: “US operations in Venezuela and Iran have shown the world that American equipment works, while Chinese and Russian equipment has serious flaws. Still, we can’t afford to lose our edge. We need to ensure our defense industrial base is able to sustain the US warfighter in the long”.

Also on May 14, he published a brief statement referencing gun rights: “Shall NOT be infringed!”

Pat Fallon was elected to Congress in 2020 after defeating Russell Foster with more than 75% of the vote. He retained his seat in subsequent elections against Iro Omere in 2022 and Simon Cardell in 2024 by wide margins. Fallon has served Texas’s 4th District since replacing John Ratcliffe in 2021 and previously held positions in both the Texas House of Representatives (2013-2019) and Texas Senate (2019-2021). Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1967, he currently resides in Frisco.
