Former John Jay High School standout Nyema Muhammad’s college squad, the McMurry War Hawks, fell to the Ozarks Eagles 7-3 in an NCAA Division III softball matchup held Friday, March 6, at 2 p.m.

The contest was played at Edwards Field and marked the first meeting between the War Hawks and Eagles this season.

Muhammad pitched 4.2 innings, allowing one earned run.

The War Hawks are scheduled to face the Ozarks Eagles again at Edwards Field on Friday, March 6, at 4:30 p.m.
