McMurry falls to Hardin-Simmons in NCAA Division III softball with O’Connor alum Reyes on roster

The McMurry War Hawks, featuring former O’Connor High School standout Thalia Reyes, were defeated 5-2 by the Hardin-Simmons Cowgirls in an NCAA Division III softball matchup on Tuesday, March 24, at 6 p.m.

Lou Morton Ellis Field was the site for the team’s second meeting with the Cowgirls this season. The War Hawks dropped their earlier contest with Hardin-Simmons 9-5 on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Reyes pitched one inning, allowing three earned runs.

The War Hawks are set to play again at 6 p.m. Friday, March 27, against the Dallas Crusaders at Softball Crusader Field.
