Lloyd Doggett, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 37th district since 1995, has shared several statements via social media concerning recent political and personal events. Doggett, who succeeded J.J. Pickle in Congress and previously served in the Texas Senate from 1973 to 1985, posted on May 19, 2025.

In a tweet posted at 01:01 UTC, Doggett expressed support for President Biden amidst his health challenges: “The Biden family is in our prayers, as President Biden battles a serious prostate cancer diagnosis. We extend hope for a full recovery.”
