John Lujan, a Republican who has represented Texas’s 118th House district since his election in 2021, recently shared updates and personal moments on his social media account.
On February 21, 2026, Lujan posted a message celebrating his wife’s birthday: “Happy birthday to my beautiful wife, Freda!! Even on the chaotic days, you keep us grounded. You’re the rock of our family and the real rulemaker around here.
And spending your birthday poll greeting? I’m pretty sure most wives would’ve taken the day off… but here we are. I https://t.co/Dheda7Y7UV“
Later that week, on February 23, Lujan acknowledged support from fellow Texas politician Ryan Guillen: “Thank you @RyanGuillen for helping support our campaign for Congress! It’s an honor to have your endorsement and even better to see you at the polls. https://t.co/hBJa0IsQhD”
That same day, he provided an update about early voting activities in Texas’s 35th Congressional District: “Week 2 of Early Voting is underway, and we are working hard across TX-35. Proud to have Rep. @RyanGuillen out with us — his support and leadership in South Texas mean a lot to me and this race.
If you haven’t voted yet, now’s the time. Find a poll near you: https://t.co/RmaVge3ux6“
Lujan was elected to the Texas State House in 2021 after replacing Leo Pacheco as representative for District 118.
