John Lujan, a Republican serving in the Texas State House since 2021, recently announced several key endorsements for his campaign on social media.

On May 5, 2026, Lujan shared news of support from a major law enforcement organization, stating: “Honored to have the endorsement of the Texas Municipal Police Association! @TMPALegislative represents thousands of Texas law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. Lujan was first elected to represent Texas’s 118th House district in 2021 after replacing former state representative Leo Pacheco.
