How many companies in cities across Medina County received FDA citations in Q2?

There were two companies in a city associated with Medina County that received FDA citations as a result of two inspections conducted in the county over the second quarter of 2025, according to reports from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This is unchanged from the number of companies cited in the previous quarter.

The citations in the county include:

• You did not promptly investigate and document your investigation to determine whether your FSVP is adequate when you determined that a foreign supplier of food that you import does not produce food in compliance with the required processes and procedures.
• You did not provide an English translation of an FSVP record that you maintained in a language other than English.
• You did not document that you reevaluated a foreign supplier’s performance or the risk posed by a food when you became aware of new information about the foreign supplier’s performance or the risk posed by a food.

All of the companies cited were involved in the Food and Cosmetics sector.

Both companies cited should take voluntary actions to correct their managing operations.

The FDA routinely inspects facilities across the nation to determine if the workplace and their products are compliant with FDA-regulated laws and regulations implemented to improve overall public health. Inspection results are then disclosed publicly.
