Former Holy Cross of San Antonio standout Daniel Cardona took the field for the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas during their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Oklahoma Christian Eagles, which ended in an 18-4 loss for the Javelinas on Saturday, March 7, at 6 p.m.

The matchup, held at McCord Field, marked the teams’ third encounter of the season. Earlier that same day, the Javelinas had secured a 4-3 victory over the Eagles.

Cardona pitched two innings, giving up three earned runs, allowing two walks, and striking out one batter.

The Javelinas are set to face the Oklahoma Christian Eagles again at McCord Field on Sunday, March 8, with game time slated for 1 p.m.
