Representative Chip Roy has served as a member of Congress for Texas’s 21st District since 2019 after succeeding Lamar Smith. He was born in Bethesda, Maryland in 1972 and currently resides in Austin. He holds degrees from both the University of Virginia and the University of Texas-Austin.
